My First Day at the BL Resort

What an amazing day I’ve had. I dont think anyone could have prepared me for the day. not the working out for 6 hours but for the commardrie of the staff and the people that are here with the mission to change and transform their lives. Everyone is here to help the other in any way we can. Feeling a little overwhelmed on the hike…no worries-the trail guide or another guest is there to walk with you and get you up that hill. and let me tell you..the hike today was up hill. The trail was called the bulldog and it was an up and down trail. It means just that. The trail went up and then 1 hour and 15 minutes later we turned around and came straight down. The total time we hike is 2 hours and 30 minutes. We do this every morning. I cant wait for tomorrow morning. it is beautiful hiking here. I’ve included some pics and you will see that I’m not lying when I say how pretty. It makes the aches and pains all worth it. And that was just the beginning of my day. We got back and had an educational lecture on nutrition. Information i will truly take home with me and incorporate into my every day healthy lifestyle. Then came lunch and then came circuit training, then core training, and then pool class We then had another lecture and dinner. To say the least…I’m pooped. And those that know me will know I don’t say that often.
I’ll be blogging everyday so stayed tuned. For right now….lights out….this puppy is going to bed so she has enough energy for the new day coming.

I have never been so excited in my life. In ten days I’ll be in Malibu motivating people to lose weight and make healthy choices in their life. Im no expert thats for sure but I do know how hard it is to lose weight on your own and make your mind stick to a path that will benefit you the rest of your life.
I wish i knew the magic words to use to make it simple but there are none. You have to find it in yourself to know your worth the change and make it happen. We all have the special part of us that makes us know that we are worth the challenges and the ups and downs that changing your life can bring. But if anyone knows its possible its ME!!! And I will motivate you and share with you all my triumphs and yes…all my downfalls along the way.
